Engagement and new blog

hello again everyone!

as promised, here are some photos from the Engagement.

that's the day everything became official, and not the day I got down on
my knees.
(that happened in the beginning of February.)

now that are engagement is official, and our prayer card in the making,
we have decided to have a joint blog instead of this one, so that you
can pray not just for me, but for Ai also.
(though, this blog will also be updated with same details up to our
wedding day.)

the new blog (which has no updates yet) is www.timandai.blogspot.com and
should have posts coming soon.

Lots of thing happening!!

Well, more than a week has gone past without an update... The reason was because I was having a holiday!

On the 40th of April I had an engagement party, which had an attendance of over 60 people!!
It was a great day and Ai and myself will like to thank all who came, and all who have remembered us in their prayers. So from then till Friday, I was entertaining Ai and her parents in London and Edinburgh, and that's why I hadn't updated the blog.

Ai and her parents left for Japan on Friday, and she is back to work from today. Please do remember us as we continue to prepare for our wedding which will be on the 17th of September, held in Tokyo Baptist Church.

From Saturday I was in Sidmouth, and was presenting my work in Emanuel Baptist Church on Sunday morning and evening. A great congregation who have been a real encouragement for me.

Today (Monday the 9th) I return back to London and will catch a night bus to Glasgow, where I will catch a train which will take me to Skye.
I will be in Skye for 10 days spending time with friends and speaking at a few meetings.

So, next update will be from Skye, with photos of the engagement service and past places I have visited.

17 April

Hello all,

I am currently in Victoria coach station waiting to board the bus for Edinburgh. The Japanese youth retreat and the service in Wimbledon where real blessings for me.

The retreat, which was held in Milton Keens had an attendance of 25 or so, which is significantly smaller than previous years, but it was a time of fellowship, worship, encouragement and a time to meditate on our Lords work on the cross.
I gave my testimony, and also by some strange reason taught how to Ceilidh. (is that how you spell it?)
It was great to catch up with Japanese Pastors ministering to deaspora within Europe.

As soon as the last session finished, it was time to head for Wimbledon, I was actually 15minutes late to arrive at the service which started at 2pm, but was on time to preach.

Being a week before Easter, I spoke on Psalm 22:1-21.
Being the first time to talk solely on the Passion, I was worried on how it will turn out, but I have to say, I was truly blessed all through my preparation, and recommend you to also read that Psalm this week and meditate on all that the Lord lost, all the emotions he went through, simply to give us all.

Qs for plans for this week, I will be attending the Faith Mission Bangor Convention from Thursday till next Tuesday.
I will be presenting my work and the need of Prayer in Japan, so please do pray for me as I share this burden the Lord has laid upon my heart.
