New Prayer Card

Hi folks,

I have just finished making our first ever prayer card, which will be
ready for pick up tomorrow!
If you would like one or two or 10 copies to pass around and to stick on
your fridge to remind yourselves to pray for me, please send a email to
me, with the quantity and your address.
(it will be great if I could send them in groups to keep postage cost to
the minimum)

also, if you would like to sign up to get our prayer letters, please
send an e-mail with your name address (post or e-mail) to Japan
Christian Link.

finally, I forgot to mention this on our last update, but all my old
blog updates can be found on www.pray4tim.blogspot.com (if you are
readying this on the page mentioned, then check out our new blog at
www.timandai.blogspot.com)

in Him

Isle of Skye

I am now on the train at Kyle of Lochalsh, about to leave for Inverness.

The 10 days here have been great with a mixture of experience.

Last Wednesday I was given the opportunity to speak at a prayer meeting held in a house with 10 or so people. It was great to be able to pray for Japan with the people there.

Then Friday I was at the primary school at Elgol speaking to the students about Japan an missionaries.

As soon as I left the school it was time for a boat trip with the world famous Misty Isle Boat Trip (as seen on BBC and NHK). Seeing the beauty and glory of Gods creation was just awesome! Thanks for the free ride Stuart!!!

In the evening I was at the north part of Skye where I joined in a youth Christianity Explored course held at the Tinks, where I stayed for two nights.

Saturday, Jonathan took me to see the North parts of Skye, like the kilt rock and a brilliant view from Q.... Ah, can't remember the name... But a great place!

Sunday morning I was given the opportunity to speak at a church of Scotland church about Japan, and by the evening I was back in the south part of Skye to speak at a gathering that met at another church.

Now, as for the photo that is showing...
That is from Tuesday just passed.

The three men are Stevie, John and Stuart. I was staying at Stuarts, and was told that the slaughtering and gutting of pigs was going to happen, and received an invite.

Well, to cut the long story short, it was an experience I'll probably never forget, it hasn't put me off pork, as a matter of fact, I really enjoyed the meat, and I am truly thankful for the very rear experience I was able to have.

But more than that, it was great to get to know you three over the few days! I know I will be in your prayers and you will be in mine.

So next, a. brief stop at Inverness, then to Edinburgh!

Till next time!

Engagement and new blog

hello again everyone!

as promised, here are some photos from the Engagement.

that's the day everything became official, and not the day I got down on
my knees.
(that happened in the beginning of February.)

now that are engagement is official, and our prayer card in the making,
we have decided to have a joint blog instead of this one, so that you
can pray not just for me, but for Ai also.
(though, this blog will also be updated with same details up to our
wedding day.)

the new blog (which has no updates yet) is www.timandai.blogspot.com and
should have posts coming soon.

Lots of thing happening!!

Well, more than a week has gone past without an update... The reason was because I was having a holiday!

On the 40th of April I had an engagement party, which had an attendance of over 60 people!!
It was a great day and Ai and myself will like to thank all who came, and all who have remembered us in their prayers. So from then till Friday, I was entertaining Ai and her parents in London and Edinburgh, and that's why I hadn't updated the blog.

Ai and her parents left for Japan on Friday, and she is back to work from today. Please do remember us as we continue to prepare for our wedding which will be on the 17th of September, held in Tokyo Baptist Church.

From Saturday I was in Sidmouth, and was presenting my work in Emanuel Baptist Church on Sunday morning and evening. A great congregation who have been a real encouragement for me.

Today (Monday the 9th) I return back to London and will catch a night bus to Glasgow, where I will catch a train which will take me to Skye.
I will be in Skye for 10 days spending time with friends and speaking at a few meetings.

So, next update will be from Skye, with photos of the engagement service and past places I have visited.
